This Privacy Policy explains how SymetrIQ processes personal information when you use a SymetrIQ Account and supported SymetrIQ services.
1. Information we collect
When you create or use a SymetrIQ Account, we may process information necessary to provide authentication and account access, such as:
- your email address;
- your name or basic profile information, when provided;
- account and authentication identifiers;
- information required to maintain secure login sessions;
- basic technical and security information related to account access.
2. Google Sign-In
If you choose to sign in using Google, SymetrIQ requests only the basic identity permissions required for authentication:
- OpenID identity information;
- your Google Account email address;
- basic profile information.
SymetrIQ uses Google's stable account identifier to associate the Google sign-in method with your SymetrIQ Account.
SymetrIQ does not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, contacts, files, or other Google services through this sign-in integration.
Google access and refresh tokens received during the sign-in process are not stored as persistent user data by the SymetrIQ Google Sign-In integration.
3. How we use information
We use account information to:
- create and maintain your SymetrIQ Account;
- authenticate you securely;
- provide access to supported SymetrIQ services;
- protect accounts and services against misuse or unauthorized access;
- operate and improve the reliability of our services.
4. Sharing of information
We do not sell personal information.
Information may be processed by service providers that are necessary to operate SymetrIQ services, such as authentication, infrastructure and email-delivery providers. Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law.
5. Data retention
We retain account information only for as long as necessary to provide the relevant SymetrIQ services, maintain account security, meet legal obligations, and resolve operational or security issues.
6. Security
SymetrIQ uses technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect account and authentication information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse or disclosure.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including requesting access, correction or deletion of information associated with your account.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as SymetrIQ services evolve. The date shown at the top of this page indicates the latest revision.
